The Women's Empowerment Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Ayen Iraqi University AUIQ held a workshop entitled "Applications of Optics Technologies in Improving Women's Health and Future Vision: From Diagnosis to Treatment", presented by the lecturer in the Department of Optics, Prof. Rasha Muhammad Naji, in the presence of a number of lecturers and specialists in the field of optics and vision sciences.

The symposium discussed the latest innovations in optics technologies, and their role in early diagnosis of eye diseases in women, in addition to modern methods of correcting vision using smart lenses and advanced medical interventions. It also discussed the relationship between eye health and environmental and genetic factors and their impact on vision, with recommendations to enhance healthy vision in women of all ages.
