The Women Empowerment Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a distinguished awareness workshop entitled "First Aid for the Eye," delivered by Dr. Ammar Adel Fahd, an ophthalmologist. 

The workshop targeted students and academic staff to enhance awareness of the importance of eye health care. 

It included theoretical lectures and practical training that addressed common injuries that the eye may be exposed to and ways to deal with them correctly. The importance of first aid as a necessary life skill was also highlighted.
