The Women's Empowerment Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized an awareness workshop entitled "The Advantage of Spinal Anesthesia in Cesarean Sections", delivered by Dr. Majed Fakher, a lecturer in the Department of Anesthesia, as part of the unit's efforts to enhance health awareness among medical staff and students.

 The workshop witnessed the participation of a number of professors, researchers and specialists in the field of anesthesia and obstetrics, where it addressed the medical and health advantages of spinal anesthesia compared to general anesthesia in cesarean sections, and its impact on the health of the mother and fetus. The latest medical studies and recommendations in this field were also addressed, with scientific consultations provided to the participants.
