On Monday, February 24, 2025, the College of Engineering Technology participated in the Loyalty to the Masters of the Resistance stand, which was organized by Al-Ayen Iraqi University at the university stadium, in the presence of the President of the University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoun, and a representative College of Engineering Technology, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed Nasr Al-Obaidi, in addition to members of the University Council, teaching staff, employees, and students from various colleges and departments.

The stand, which was managed by the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Assistant Lecturer Abdul Rahman Al-Batat, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by student Abdullah Abdul Hussein Radi, then the President of the University delivered a speech in which he reviewed the fragrant biography of the martyred Sayyid Hassan and the martyred Sayyid Safi al-Din, pointing to their wisdom and shrewdness in achieving immortal achievements in history, the most prominent of which was the liberation of Lebanese lands from occupation.

 In his speech, the university president stressed that there are wounds that can not be healed, but the will and determination are the way to continue on the path, stressing that everyone remains committed to the covenant.

The vigil concluded with a touching poem recited by student Mustafa Hamza Musa, in which he mourned His Eminence the martyr with verses that embody his sacrifices and heroism, to be a fitting conclusion for this occasion.
