The IEEE AUIQ Student Branch at Al-Ayen Iraqi University - College of Engineering Technology held a meeting headed by the respected Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi, to discuss the branch's requirements and future plans.

The meeting addressed the opening requirements on the sidelines of the official approval by the IEEE organization to open the student chapter of AUIQ.

The members also discussed attracting students from nearby scientific departments by organizing workshops and introductory events, in addition to preparing promotional materials.

The meeting touched on the annual plan that includes workshops, lectures, and competitions while following up on IEEE developments and participating in regional and international events.

 The meeting concluded with an emphasis on involving other stage students to ensure the continuity of the branch and transfer of expertise to new members.
