I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education, Al-Ain University. The Department of Chemistry was established in 2023 in response to the great demand for this major in Dhi Qar Governorate. Chemistry is one of the most influential sciences in the world and society as a whole. It is the science that can understand the composition and interactions of materials and use them to solve many of the challenges we face. The Department of Chemistry here at Al-Ain University works diligently to guide students toward education, research, and innovation. We strive to provide students with the knowledge and skills that enable them to think critically, understand the chemical world, and contribute to its broad applications.
